Percorso di 18 km con dislivello di 1024 metri.
Partenza dal Rifugio Balbieres (1500 mlm), percorrere la strada per Desertes e procedere oltre per la strada verso Millaure (601), giunti a Millaure prendere il sentiero 601A verso Passo Desertes, seguire le indicazioni sul sentiero.
